to St. Simons Island, GA You will feel it the minute you step foot on the Island: St. Simons Island is one of the most charming and friendly places on earth! Beneath the draping moss and arms of the giant live oaks that line our roads and pathways, an Island of residents, part-timers and visitors are happy to be spending their time in this special place. Your first glimpse of St. Simons Island is across the celebrated Marshes of Glynn, made famous by Poet Sidney Lanier. Called "The Nursery of the Sea," these natural treasures are the birthplace of much of our sea life. The Pier Village anchors the south end of the Island and is the social hub of the Island for many visitors. We are happy to be sharing St. Simons Island with you.     |
